1.Carefullyliftthebackofthecanopyhatch(A)andpullthehatchpinsfromthe

holesinthefuselagetoremovethecanopyhatch.

2.Installtheightbattery()allthewaytothefrontofthebatterycompartment.

3.ConnectthebatteryconnectortotheESCpowerconnector.

4.Makesuretheightbattery()issecureusingahookandloopstrap(C).

5. Install the battery hatch on the fuselage. Ensure the magnets on the hatch and

fuselage connect.

CAUTION:AlwaysdisconnecttheLi-Pobatteryfromtheaircraftreceiver

whennotyingtoavoidover-dischargingthebattery.Batteriesdischarged

toavoltagelowerthanthelowestapprovedvoltagemaybecome

damaged,resultinginlossofperformanceandpotentialrewhen

batteries are charged.

CAUTION: Alwayskeephandsawayfromthepropeller.Whenarmed,

themotorwillturnthepropellerinresponsetoanythrottlemovement.

BIND PLUG





1. Readthetransmitterinstructionsforbindingtoareceiver(locationoftransmitter’sBindcontrol).

2. Makesurethetransmitterispoweredoff.

3. Movethetransmittercontrolstoneutral(ightcontrols:rudder,elevatorsandailerons)ortolow

positions(throttle,throttletrim).*

4. Installabindpluginthereceiverbindport.

5. ConnecttheightbatterytotheESC.

6. ThereceiverLEDwillbegintoashrapidly.

7. Poweronthetransmitterwhileholdingthetransmitterbindbuttonorswitch.Refertoyour

transmitter’smanualforbindingbuttonorswitchinstructions.

8. Whenthereceiverbindstothetransmitter,thelightonthereceiverwillturnsolidandtheESC

willproduceaseriesofsounds.Onelongtone,thenthreeshorttonesconrmtheLVCissetfor

the ESC.

9. Removethebindplugfromthebindport.

10. Safelystorethebindplug(someownersattachthebindplugtotheirtransmitterusingtwo-part

loopsandclips).

11. Thereceivershouldretainthebindinginstructionsreceivedfromthetransmitteruntilanother

binding is done.

*Thethrottlewillnotarmifthetransmitter’sthrottlecontrolisnotputatthelowestposition.Ifyouencounterproblems,followthebindinginstructionsand

refertothetransmittertroubleshootingguideforotherinstructions.Ifneeded,contacttheappropriateHorizonProductSupportofce.

BindingistheprocessofprogrammingthereceiverofthecontrolunittorecognizetheGUID(GloballyUniqueIdentier)codeofasinglespecictransmitter.

Youneedto‘bind’yourchosenSpektrumDSM2/DSMXtechnologyequippedaircrafttransmittertothereceiverforproperoperation.
